Bio
Ciara is Irish and has recently moved over to Sydney to begin her new career Down Under at Spinal Synergy Physiotherapy. She graduated with a Bachelors in Exercise and Health Science from the University of Limerick in Ireland and she has recently completed her Masters in Physiotherapy from the University of Bolton in the UK.
Ciara has experience both in hospitals and outpatient clinics while working with NHS in England. She has developed a holistic approach to Physiotherapy, integrating evidence-based practices with personalized treatment plans for each patient. She is skilled in conducting thorough assessments, formulating accurate diagnoses, and designing effective therapeutic interventions.
Ciara will be working at both the Cremorne & Neutral Bay locations alongside the other team members.
Clinical interests
Throughout her international experience, Ciara has gained experience in the treatment of sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, spinal and neurological conditions . She is also proficient in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises. Although new to the field Ciara is developing an interest in Women’s Health which will complement our treatment methods for pelvic floor evaluations. Ciara looks forward to enhancing her skills and qualifications under the guidance of Spinal Synergy Physiotherapy.
Interests
While growing up Ciara was always very active, taking part in a variety of sports including handball, camogie (an Irish stick-and-ball team sport played by women similar to hurling) and golf. She has gained an international Cap with the Irish Girls Golf team when she was 15. During her spare time Ciara loves going to the gym, sea swims and playing golf.
She believes that living a healthy lifestyle is important and hopes to encourage her patients to do the same.
